The village has a Public Access Defibrillator on the wall of Kirkgunzeon Primary School which is maintained by Dalbeattie Community First Responders.

Bus Service 

The main bus service through the village is the 501 Dumfries to Castle Doulas Service via Dalbeattie. It is operated via Stagecoach and the timetable can be found on Stagecoach website here.

Postal Service

The Post Box is located near the main bus stop, next to the gate of the Manse. Collection times are Mon-Fri 4.45pm and on Saturday 10.30am

Local shops and food deliveries

The nearest local shops, post office, petrol station and pharmacy can be found on the High Street in Dalbeattie. There is also a well stocked farm shop and café at Loch Arthur in Beeswing. More information on service in Dalbeattie is available from www.dalbeattiematters.net
